Located on the east, west, and north sides of the Qianfo Peace Pagoda within Chengdu’s Wenshu Monastery, there is a long corridor known as the ‘Inscription Gallery’. This gallery houses numerous inscriptions by celebrities, displays many authentic ancient steles, and includes poetic inscriptions donated to the temple by royals, officials, and celebrities since the Qing Dynasty. It also features stone carvings of Buddhist calligraphy by the masters of Wenshu Monastery through the ages, which are extremely precious. Each stele is protected by a glass cover. The monastery is open all year round, with full-day access.
