Sen’s Art Museum: A Non-Profit Art Institution in Southwest China

Sen’s Art Museum, officially approved by the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, and registered with the Chengdu Civil Affairs Bureau, is a privately-funded non-profit art institution founded by Mr. Yang Xun. It aims to stand in the southwest, face the world, and explore new models of art museums with an open attitude and a cutting-edge perspective.
Since its establishment, Sen’s Art Museum has been committed to creating an art exchange platform for social aesthetic education and public cultural services. It focuses on professional audiences, art college students, and young researchers, and carries out a series of art exhibitions and public education activities for young audiences and general art enthusiasts. These exhibition activities aim to provide a platform for the public and artists to communicate, broaden artistic horizons, and establish the museum’s cultural communication image in Chengdu and other regions. While promoting regional cultural exchanges, they also make the interaction and production of creative knowledge a norm.

The museum’s architecture uses three colors: black, white, and brown, with a light and elegant tone and a unique shape. Surrounded by distant mountains and nearby waters, tall trees and grass, it is nestled among lush and dense vegetation, integrating with nature and making the art museum quiet and distinctive.

Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 all year round; closed all day on Mondays.
